It may feel as though the pandemic has been dragging on for about a century, but we are yet to see America’s two biggest film award ceremonies take place in this new socially distant world. Today’s Golden Globe nominations marked the start of a season like no other, where the red carpet will be replaced with the celebrity sitting-room carpet and outfits will likely run the full gamut from traditional black tie to slippers and dressing gowns.
