Supermarket giant Tesco may be best known for its food and drink offering, but the retailer is also pretty fashion forward when it comes to clothing.
Tesco’s clothing brand, Florence and Fred (F&F) has been popular with supermarket shoppers for years, and is known for its bargain styles.
However, shoppers have been left disappointed after the F&F Instagram account shared a picture of a £15 tye dye tracksuit.
Many people rushed to comment on the outfit, with one person writing: “I need this in my life!”
“We need these as group comfies!” wrote somebody else.
A third commented: “I’ve got this and it’s so nice and comfy.”
However, people were left disappointed after realising clothing is currently not available on the Tesco website.
“I wish you’d sell your clothing online again,” wrote one shopper.
Another said: ” I didn’t like going into store even before COVID, and do all of my clothes shopping online.”
“Where can I buy this ? We’re not allowed in Wales to buy clothes in Tesco!” asked somebody else.
F&F clothing is currently only available to buy in stores, though select pieces can be found on the Next website.
A statement on the F&F website reads: “Sit back and scroll through our newest fashion collections, then shop them in one of our 607 stores. You only popped in for cucumber.”
It continues: “Due to the current challenges posed by COVID-19, we’ve extended our returns policy to 100 days, as we recognise that customers may be visiting our stores less frequently at this time. We may also experience some delays in our stock availability. Thank you for your understanding.”
